Full Fast: Drink only liquids. Full fast can be for a 24 hour period or as an introduction to fasting or for health reasons for 12 hour period. Push yourself to go longer than one day or include several days during the corporate time of fasting.
Daniel Fast: Eat no meat, no sweets, and no bread unless it is unleavened. Drink water or juice. Eat fruits, vegetables or nuts. The Daniel Fast should be for the whole ten days or at least go for three consecutive days one or more times during the ten day period.
Lifestyle Fast: Biblical Fasting often included many types of self-denial other than food. You can fast electronics, social media, or other activities in which you participate on a daily basis. A lifestyle fast can be something like caffeine or sugar. A lifestyle fast should go for the full ten days.
