35  But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

Even Christians today debate weather or not Fasting is relevent for the Body of Christ.  According to the Words of Jesus (who is the Bridegroom), not only is Fasting relevent, but Jesus requires that His Church Body fast. The FULL Counsel of God's Word has been Given, so that we can Live a Full Life, Full of His Blessings. To pick and choose which statements of Christ we fill like doing and not doing only leaves us Less than Full and many times filling empty. So don't take anyones opinion about weather or not a Christian should fast, but rather be Obedient to the Words of Christ.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, Thank You for Your Words of Life, Thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit to dwell in me. Thank You for the Holy Spirit of Truth which is the Comforter and my help in times of trouble. Help me, Strenghten me, Search me, Forgive me and Fill me. Jesus, You are the Lord of my life! Amen
