Day 5

1 Corinthians 6:19-20  Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

      What would happen if we stopped cleaning the church.  If we didn’t vacuum, dust, mop the floors, emptied the trash or clean the windows.  How long before visitors started taking that into account before decided to NOT come back. How is that any different from the world seeing us and allowing our garbage to keep them from believing in what we tell them.  Our junk is louder than our voices.  

    If you notice you will see a period at the end of the title of today’s devotion.  I’m not sure its good grammar, but its supposed to be a statement not a question.   If you take a look at your own spiritual condition and see areas in which you haven’t been able to live in such a way to bring glory to the Lord, maybe fasting can help.  It could bring deliverance or if not bring the strength to overcome.  If nothing else the Lord can show you what you lose when He comes last.
